Great tips. Can't wait to try it. I implemented your other tip of mimicking pulling down with the free hand while pressing tonight very successfully. And to reference the Secrets of the Shoulder DVD, when you let the upper trap elevate the scapula (AKA shoulder blade) you prevent the scap from rotating and the glenoid (the actual shoulder joint) has to make up the difference in range of motion, which can lead to some impingement syndromes and can put stress onto some tendons that lie under the acromium process.
Great video and cues David. The shoulder pulls alone have helped a lot of my physical therapy patients learn stability of their shoulder. Once they get good at this I move them on to presses and get ups. Then the pain disappears.
