Core Training Continued

I ran across this clip from the Gym Jones crew. It further illustrates the point I made yesterday.

Awesome video.

Big Danny John is a graceful man.

OH Squats and sled sprints = brutal.

Those get-ups MIGHT be a bit harder than with a KB - ya think? Wow!

David, my brother in Iron. Your phone call was very kind and hit me at the right point at the right time. It's gonna take a bit before I get to apply the lessons I've learned, and in all honesty this whole thing has been really, really hard on Her. I'm a guy, I can push things away and then deal with them later, but when it comes time to deal with it I will. With your help and motivation it shouldn't be impossible. Again my friend, thank you. And hell yeah "core" movement are just fancier isolated drills for the rectus abdominus and the obliques. If you aren't movin your whole body (evil wheel Full KOntact Twist or HKR) you're just a big sweaty baby.

Just for the hell of it I decided to try some olympic bar getups. Empty bar to start. I can do them no problem with the right arm. Little squirrely with the left, but now I've got my sites on the 45's a la Gym Jones' logo. I'll need a leopard print singlet and a twirly stache.

wild men, I love it! I just wish they were doing this kind of stuff when I still had the connective tissue that would take it.
